Shohei Ohtani’s market surged again during the most dramatic night of the season. A BGS 9.5 2018 Topps Superfractor auto sold for $542,900 during Game 7 — marking the third-highest Ohtani sale ever and a massive jump from its previous public sale of $69,000, a 687% increase.
The auction closed at 10:43 PM EST, while the Dodgers were trailing 4–2. Less than two hours later, at 12:19 AM EST, Los Angeles completed the comeback and Ohtani became a World Series Champion once again.
