The sun is out, the weekend’s here, so I think it’s time to finally whip out my new YuGi Adidas sneakers! 😁
I have wanted these for SUCH a long time.
But my size sold out practically instantly when they dropped a few years ago, and the promo card that came with them now goes for some insane prices.
(I didn’t get the promo card with these, which I’m more than okay with given I just wanted the shoes!)
But my god, I love them.
The Dark Magician print on the side is awesome.
They come with a little golden “piece of Exodia” and it’s kinda genius when you think about it, to encourage people to buy all the set to complete it (that’s how my brain works at least…).
Time to overthink where I’m gonna hang it from 😅
They have a little silver Millennium Puzzle printed on the tongue too.
They also come with some mint green or lavender replacement laces, but one of the coolest additions is cut-out insoles – that pic you see with the Dark Magician attacking? If you look closely, you’ll see cut out lines and they’re actually replaceable insoles.
How cool is that?!
I might just get myself a pair of plain sneakers and cut it up to put in them and “YuGi” them up!
