YGOrganization | CDP: Voiceless Voice Herald of Ultimateness, with Impcantation and Trickstar

LIGHT Rituals unite, to protect and serve Lo.

Strategic Summary:

Today’s CDP features the return of the Voiceless Voice to my channel, previously localized as Silenforc. If you missed my pure profile covering them after PHNI, be sure to check that out here first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMA45uU_g6E

This time around, the deck has many of the same plays in its toolkit, just optimized to extract a much heavier toll on an opponent trying to make a play, especially with the newest arrivals to the Voiceless theme. First up we have Saffira, Dragon Deity of the Voiceless Voice (YGOrg Translation), a new Level 7 LIGHT Dragon that draws 2 then discards 1 on summon, as long as you have Lo, the Prayers of the Voiceless Voice on the field or in the GY. Additionally, it continues the trend of infinite recovery of this archetype by grabbing any LIGHT monster from your GY during the opponent’s End Phase. Speaking of recovery, the theme got yet another card to do just that in Blessing of the Voiceless Voice (YGOrg Translation), a Continuous Spell that recovers any Voiceless Voice card from your GY or banishment. Additionally, if a non-Ritual monster is Summoned, Blessing allows you to immediately Ritual Summon a LIGHT Warrior or Dragon, protecting that Ritual Summoned monster from battle. This adds to the already crazy boards that the Voiceless could already generate, and you can even cycle Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended multiple times in a single turn to negate multiple Special Summons!

Moving onto the other star of today’s profile, we have the Herald Ritual monsters: Herald of Perfection and Herald of Ultimateness. With the protection that Barrier of the Voiceless Voice offers to all LIGHT Rituals, this is already a major plus for the Herald strategy, which aims to negate anything your opponent tries to activate by discarding a Fairy. The one downside here, is that you actually don’t have all that many Fairies to discard. Unlike the pure Herald of Perfection deck that used to exist eras ago to negate everything, this deck uses Herald as a deterrent, preventing an errant effect from wiping the board of Ritual Monsters you worked so hard to establish. While I did choose to run Oracle of the Herald here to allow for the tutoring of Ultimateness, with Pre-Preparation of Rites, you’ll most commonly be summoning your Level 12 Ritual with the help of Prayers of the Voiceless Voice, since it is able to Ritual Summon any LIGHT monster. Continuing the Herald side of the deck, Diviner of the Herald makes another appearance, grabbing any Ritual Monster or Spell from the deck through the help of Herald of the Arc Light, and you always have Herald of Mirage Lights waiting in the wings if you don’t have the ability to Ritual Summon Perfection or Ultimateness.

I know what you might be thinking – there’s not enough Rituals yet here. And I clearly agreed, as I also threw the Impcantations in here! The Impcantation archetype exists as generalized support for any Ritual Deck. Impcantation Talismandra can tutor any Ritual Monster, Impcantation Candoll can tutor any Ritual Spell, and Impcantation Chalislime can summon either from the deck! Throw in the field’s own Ritual Spell in Impcantation Inception, and you’re set to make anything you set your mind to. Just remember, Saffira, Dragon Queen of the Voiceless Voice can send your copy of Inception to the GY, giving you even more access to any Impcantation at your ease. As for the final engines at play, Cyber Angel Benten is up first, as it is just a great LIGHT monster to Tribute, since it tutors any LIGHT Fairy, and in particular, Diviner of the Herald.

And then lastly we have my favorite archetype, the Trickstar, making an appearance, this time in the form of Trickstar Mandrake and Trickstar Light Stage. The Field Spell should be self-explanatory, but it is really great here at helping the Voiceless go second and break through a deck that establishes some set backrow to throw thorns in your gameplan. On the other hand, Mandrake is a really cool tech that Special Summons itself when sent from the hand to the GY. This is helpful of course to get an extra body when discarding her with Ultimateness, but it also just happens to trigger the effect of Blessing during your opponent’s turn on your terms. For all intents and purposes, this extra Ritual Summon can even trigger you to summon back Lo again, this time putting a Radiance of the Voiceless Voice on your field for additional disruption. Either way, I’ve said enough about the Voiceless theme, so hope you enjoy it!
