If you were thinking Amazon’s The Boys would make for a good set of trading cards, you’re on the same wavelength as Upper Deck. The card maker has landed the license to the television show that recently wrapped up its third season on Prime.
As to when the initial set might arrive and what will be in it, that’s still a mystery.
Upper Deck will also be doing a game for their Vs. System based on the show next year.
“The Boys is a great addition to our portfolio and we’re thrilled to be a part of bringing fans of the show an all-new, incredible experience,” said Jason Masherah, Upper Deck’s president.
The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Anthony Starr and many more. The show offers an edgy and satirical take on the superhero genre. It’s based on a comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
