Let’s stay on Yubel’s topic with a Spell card he used, in Yugioh GX 🃏
The Spell Chronicles artwork depicts five dots connected by a Sun and a Moon, which are activated whenever the opponent activates a Spell Card, and a pair of wings and a tail.
Which we also find in the effect, as the symbols represent the 5 Spell or Trap cards that the player must banish to activate it
Mature Chronicle is the Retrained counterpart of Spell Chronicle.
The artwork replaces the white tail and wings, with the black tail and wings of Yubel and the Moon, with the “Super Polymerization” symbol 🌀
The background has also changed to red
The card’s name refers to Yubel’s task of protecting the Supreme King until he “matured” to adulthood
The second, third and fifth effects of the card, are a reference to the Anime version of Spell Chronicle.
Yubel uses Spell Chronicle to banish 5 Spell cards and uses the counters to add Super Polymerization to his hand.
