2023 Topps Tribute Baseball brings back a lot of the things the brand is known for. One could look at the elegant designs and various themes on the checklist, but for most opting for the high-end line, it’s primarily about two things: autographs and memorabilia cards.
Once again, it’s a hit-per-pack product with every hobby box spread evenly with three autographs (or auto relics) and three memorabilia cards.
2023 Topps Tribute Baseball Checklist Overview
The base set is a blend of past and present. Current players and retired greats are both present. However, with just 100 total cards, it is star heavy.
The final 10 cards on the checklist belong to rookies. These combine to land 1:18 packs, making them short prints compared to the other 90.
Parallels are the same for all 100 cards:
- Green – /99
- Gold – /75
- Purple – /50
- Red – /10
- Black – 1/1
Each pack has two total base cards or parallels. That equals just 12 in a hobby box. Prices may not reflect it, but individual cards are not nearly as common as a lot of other baseball releases.
Autographs and Memorabilia Cards
The signatures begin with Tribute Autographs. The player selection runs deep on these. The parallel lineup includes Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/75), Purple (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10), Printing Plates (1/1) and Black (1/1).

From here, things get more specialized as far as themes and layouts go.
Olympus Autographs make their debut. According to these, players on these are the best of the best and worthy of ranking among the baseball gods. Orange (/25), Red (/10) and Black (1/1) are the lone parallels for these.

Tribute to Nicknames Autographs is another insert making its first appearance. Monikers are nothing new when it comes to cards, but the Tribute treatment gives it a different cover. Base versions all have serial numbers but to varying amounts.

Shohei Ohtani is the subject of this year’s Career Achievement Award Continuity Autographs. Each of these, which highlight a different moment, is a one-of-one. Also included on the checklist are dual-signed versions that have a pair of autographs from the two-way superstar.
League Inauguration Autographs (/99) and Baseball Perspectives Autographs (/50) both return. These also have Orange (/25), Red (/10) and Black (1/1) versions.
For those hunting for dual signatures, there’s Tribute Tandem Book Cards (/25) and their Red (/10) and Black (1/1) parallels).
Among Tribute’s signature memorabilia cards, Earned Stripes Autograph Relics (/50) take things on the literal side.

Names That Made the Game Cut Signatures (1/1) put a theme to cuts. Baseball players and celebrities who came up with whimsical sayings and quotes revolving around the game are included.
The 2023 Topps Tribute Baseball checklist also has Autograph Patches (/50) and one-of-one Prime Patch Autograph Relics.
Memorabilia Cards
Stamp of Approval (/199) is back for another year. These come with MLB Authentication stickers so collectors can trace the origins of the swatch to a specific game and date.

There are also Tribute Dual Relics (/199) and Tribute Triple Relics (/199).
All three of these come with Green (/99), Gold (/75), Purple (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10) and Black (1/1) parallels.
Milestone Relics round things out. Base versions have just 10 copies and Black (1/1) are the only parallels.
