It might not be the red carpet welcome that most are used to but 2023 Topps Garbage Pail Kids: Not-scars offers another kind of tribute for a handful of the year’s Academy Award nominees.
The online-exclusive release has ten cards (five different pieces of art, each with the standard A/B name variations). The checklist consists entirely of spoofs of some of the films that are up for top awards including Top Gun: Maverick, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Each pack comes with a complete set plus one Film Strip parallel.
Sets are available through the Topps website for one week starting on March 9 for $19.99 each or $179.99 for a bundle of 10. The print run will be determined by the number sold.
