2023 Panini Prizm Baseball has all the color and chromium the line is known for. But like the manufacturer’s other 2023 baseball releases, there’s been a shift in who’s it. The checklist consists of prospects and retired stars.
Content-wise, it’s similar to the past with three autographs per hobby box. Inserts and Prizms parallels also average approximately one per pack.
2023 Panini Prizm Baseball Checklist Overview
Made up of 300 cards, the base set mixes prospects, recent draft picks, Hall of Famers and other stars from the past. With that comes the usual Prizms parallel rainbow. Hobby boxes start with four Silver Prizms. Another eight come with Hyper, Ice, Pulsar or Wave patterns. Green Scope and Black Gold are among the hobby-exclusive parallels.
Purple Ice versions are only in special hobby hot boxes, which land one per case.

When it comes to autographs, Franchise Legends and Signatures are also only in hobby packs.

There’s also Potential Penmanship, which makes its debut showcasing up-and-coming talent.

Manga makes its first appearance in a Prizm baseball set. These distinct short print inserts use Japanese-inspired art.

Color Blast is also back with another round of scarce chase cards.
Hobby packs are the only places to find Fireworks, Future Supers, Pot of Gold, Prizmatic and Second to None.
