2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball takes parts the tobacco-inspired release and gives it the ultimate modern treatment — chromium shine. It marks the third Allen & Ginter Baseball set of the season following the main release and Allen & Ginter X, which is all about dark layouts.
2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball Checklist Overview
The core of the product is the base set. Consisting of 300 cards, it takes the existing design for the year and does it on chrome stock. This gives everything a slightly more upscale and a lot more shiny look compared to the basic look and feel of what it’s based on.
Parallels are a mix of full-sized Refractors and mini cards.
For the traditionally sized parallels, there’s:
- Refractors – 1:3 packs
- X-Fractors – 1 per case
- Magenta Refractors – /199
- Blue Refractors – /150
- Green Refractors – /99
- Gold Refractors – /50
- Orange Refractors – /25
- Red Refractors – /5
- Superfractors – 1/1

Every pack has one Mini card as well. These have their own assortment of parallels:
- Green Refractors – /99
- Gold Refractors – /50
- Orange Refractors – /25
- Red Refractors – /5
- Superfractors – 1/1

Autographs are tough, landing just one per case. Signed on-card, versions include Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).

Three mini inserts make the jump over to the 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter Chrome Baseball checklist as well: Baseball Lexicon, Inside the Park and Rookie Design Variations.
