2022 Panini Select Football has a lot of the hallmarks of the past. It’s chrome, which means lot of parallels. There’s a steady flow of autographs and memorabilia cards. The base set maintains a tiered structure where some sections are significantly tougher to find than others.
The base set is also where one of the most significant changes has been made. It’s expanding with another level added to the checklist.
2022 Panini Select Football Checklist Overview
This time around, a full base set consists of 500 total cards split into five different sections: Concourse, Premier Level, Club Level, the debuting Suite Level, and Field Level. Each has a slightly different design and rarity varies with Concourse being the most common and Field Level the toughest.

Although not numbered, Zebra Prizms are tough. According to Panini, these land as a case hit. Factoring in the size of the checklist, specific cards should prove to be scarce.
Additional configurations outside of standard hobby add even more parallels. For example, H2 boxes are the only place to find Disco Prizms. Besides the standard versions of these, there are Red Disco (/49), Blue Disco (/25), Gold Disco (/10), Green Disco (/5) and Black Disco (1/1).
Autographs, Memorabilia Cards and Other Inserts
2022 Panini Select Football hobby boxes have three total hits — two autographs and one memorabilia card.
Among them are a couple of sets that include both signatures and swatches.
Rookie Signatures Memorabilia have no more than 199 copies each. In addition to these is a slate of parallels that includes Blue Prizm (/75 or less), Purple Prizm (/49 or less), Tie-Dye Prizm (/25), Gold Prizm (/10), Green Prizm (/5), Black Prizm (1/1).
Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches (/99 or less) go bigger with their pieces of memorabilia. White Prizm (/75 or less), Copper Prizm (/49 or less), Tie-Dye Prizm (/25 or less), Gold Prizm (/10 or less), Green Prizm (/5 or less), Black Prizm (1/1), Black Prizm Brand Logo (1/1), Black Prizm NFL Shield (1/1), and Black Prizm Tag (1/1) are included in the rainbow for these.
The oversized theme continues in one of Select’s memorabilia-only offerings, Jumbo Rookie Swatch. Base versions have no more than 99 copies each with parallels dropping from there, all the way down to three different one-of-one Black Prizms for Brand Logo, Laundry Nike and NFL Shield.
2022 Panini Select Football has other inserts as well, including a handful that are only in hobby boxes.
Among them is the long-running Phenomenon, which also has Prizm, Zebra Prizm, Tie-Dye Prizm (/25), Gold Prizm (/10), Green Prizm (/5), Green and Black Snakeskin Prizm (/2) and Black Prizm (1/1) versions.
Sensations, Snapshots and the debiting Neon Icons are among the other hobby-exclusive inserts.
On the short print side, there’s Multiverse, Starcade and Visionary.
Select’s popular XRC Mystery Redemptions return. Rather than listing players outright, they’re good for cards featuring 2023 draft picks.
