One on-card autograph — that’s the promise of every 2022 Panini One Football hobby box. Nothing less, nothing more (unless there’s a bonus card). Like past years, these autographs take on several different themes and design, mixing current stars, rookies and some greats from the past.
2022 Panini One Football Checklist Overview
Rookie ink figures prominently on several parts of the checklist. Rookie Patch Autographs have a jumbo swatch to go with the hard signature. Making them a little more distinct, these cards are also embossed. Base versions are numbered to 199 or less with additional Blue (/99 or less), Bronze (/49 or less), Red (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Platinum (/5 or less) and Black (1/1) parallels also available.
Premium Rookie Patch Autographs (/99 or less) use acetate to showcase the signature and oversized swatch. Parallel colors are similar to regular RPAs, although there are less of them with Blue starting out at 49 copies or fewer.
For those looking for multiple swatches, there are Square One Autographs. Similar to Capstones cards Panini has used in the past, these have four memorabilia pieces and a rookie autograph. Base versions are numbered to 99 or fewer. Blue (/49 or less), Bronze (/25 or less), Red (/15 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Platinum (/5 or less) and Black (1/1) parallels can also be found.
Precision Rookie Patch Autographs offer more from year one standouts.
Formula One Autographs (/99 or less) have a pair of larger memorabilia pieces that flank either side of the card.
Additional Autographs
Not everything in 2022 Panini One Football has both autographs and memorabilia. Some keep it a little more simple with just an autograph.
One Man Show (/49 or less) takes a shadowbox approach to its design. Blue (/35 or less), Bronze (/25 or less), Red (/15 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Platinum (/5 or less) and Black (1/1).
Among the toughest cards on the checklist are One Up Autographs, which max out at 10 copies each.
The Oneders (/99 or less) is a new addition to the product. Using a colorful design, these evoke a similar vibe as the Gridiron Marvels inserts found in Donruss Football.
Presenting (/99 or less) uses nicknames as a central theme.
2022 One Football does have one short print insert set that does not have autographs. Surge are standard inserts the come on metal stock.
