2022 Panini Limited Football continues from where the line started back in the 1990s — as one of the hobby’s more high-end releases. That meant something different early on where small-ish print runs and foil stock were enough to put it over the top. Today, it means a lot more hits.
Three of the five cards in every 2022 Limited hobby box are hits: one rookie patch autograph, an additional autograph and one memorabilia card.
2022 Panini Limited Football Checklist Overview
Things start with a 100-card base set, one of the few places where signatures and swatches aren’t found. Because of its small size, look for only notable stars on this part of the checklist.
Parallels, which combine to fall one per box, include:

Rookie Patch Autographs have been a big part of the brand for several years now. Base versions max out at 299 copies with Silver Spotlight (/99 or less), Gold Spotlight (/75 or less), Ruby Spotlight (/49 or less), Amethyst Spotlight (/25 or less), Emerald Spotlight (/10 or less) and Sapphire Spotlight (1/1) versions available as well. Printing Plates are also possible.
2022 Limited Football also has separate Rookie Patch Autographs Jumbo cards (/199 or less). The parallel colors are similar to the standard RPAs, but the numbering is a little lower for some: Silver Spotlight (/75 or less), Gold Spotlight (/49 or less), Ruby Spotlight (/35 or less), Amethyst Spotlight (/25 or less), Emerald Spotlight (/10 or less), Printing Plates (1/1) and Sapphire Spotlight (1/1).
More first-year ink is available in Rookie Autographs. Standard versions have no more than 199 copies with a mix of similar Spotlight parallels that progressively more rare.

Additional Autographs, Memorabilia Cards and Inserts
Limited Membership (/99 or less) brings some veteran signatures to the 2022 Panini Limited checklist. These are designed to resemble a passport page.
Ring of Honor Autographs (/99 or less) take it back further to focus on retired legends.
One of the new additions for 2022 is Gameday Aesthetics (/99 or less). These autographs highlight players who showed style on the field.
Parallels for both of these are limited to Gold Spotlight (/49 or less), Ruby Spotlight (/25 or less), Emerald Spotlight (/10 or less) and Sapphire Spotlight (1/1).
Among the memorabilia-only offerings in the product is Unlimited Potential (/199 or less). Featuring rookies, these have oversized swatches. Parallels drop in Silver Spotlight (/99 or less), Gold Spotlight (/75 or less), Ruby Spotlight (/49 or less), Amethyst Spotlight (/25 or less), Emerald Spotlight (/10 or less) and Sapphire Spotlight (1/1).
2004 Limited Tribute inserts add a throwback element, taking the old design and applying it to both current rookies and veterans. Limited Edition parallels are a case hit. With a 100-card checklist and one per box, copies of individual standard versions are going to be tough.
