2022-23 Topps Chrome Overtime Elite Basketball is home to some of the sport’s up-and-coming prospects. And by prospects, it might be a few years before some make their presence known in the NBA.
The names may be largely unknown to the masses at the moment, but the construction of the checklist is exactly what Topps Chrome is known for. Autographs and Refractors headline, but there are also several colorful insert sets to compliment things.
2022-23 Topps Chrome Overtime Elite Checklist Overview
The base set has 100 cards covering players from the OTE program. The Refractor rainbow is a big one. Among those available in hobby packs are:

Autographs and Inserts
Chrome Autographs carry a similar design as the base set but with the signature upgrade.
Besides the base versions, there are several parallels including:
- Aqua Refractors – /99

2022-23 Topps Chrome Overtime Elite Basketball goes for bold designs for some of its other inserts. This includes Hurricane (1:6 packs), which pose players as though they were part of some fierce weather (or carrying the powers of Storm from the X-Men).

OTE Class of… (1:6 packs) highlights when players are slated to make the jump to the NBA draft.
Not surprisingly, there’s an insert set that throws back to the card maker’s history. This time it’s Topps Basketball 1972, which draws from the classic 1972-73 set for inspiration. At 1:3 packs, these are the easiest inserts to pull in the product.
For collectors looking for something tougher, there’s the colorful Super Fly (1:216 packs).

All four of these have the same parallel levels: Blue Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5), Printing Plates (1/1) and Superfractors (1/1).
Rounding things out is Topps Chrome Exposé. According to Topps, these are “super limited.” Red Refractors (/5), Printing Plates (1/1) and Superfractors (1/1) are the only other versions for these.
