2022-23 Panini Recon Basketball uses color and foil to bring some flash and funk. The third standalone hoops release for the brand includes a broad mix of inserts and parallels that land approximately two per hobby pack. Boxes deliver a pair of autographs.
2022-23 Panini Recon Basketball Checklist Overview
The base set is a mix of current NBA stars as well as rookies. Along with them come a handful of parallels including Holo, SSP Holo Dots, Holo Bronze (/299), Holo Red (/199), Holo Blue (/99), Holo Purple (/49), Holo Gold (/10), Holo Green (/5) and Holo Platinum (1/1).
According to Panini, no autograph has more than 149 copies.
Rookie Jersey Autographs bring both the ink and memorabilia.
Sophomore Acetate Autographs move up a year and showcase signatures on a large piece of plastic, giving the cards something of a layered appearance.
Other autograph themes on the checklist include Draft Night Acetate Signatures and Rookie Recon Signatures.
The Recon checklist includes some debuting insert themes like Fleet Feet, Vector and World Travelers. Each of these has additional Gold (/10) and Platinum (1/1) versions.
All Systems Go, Future Legends, Rock the Rim, Rookie Recon, Rookie Review, Sky’s the Limit, and Top of the Charts are among the other inserts.
