A truly one-of-a-kind collection has hit the market after Goldin’s 1992 Olympic Dream Team auction closed Wednesday night
The biggest winner, perhaps not surprisingly, was a 1992 Olympic game-worn Michael Jordan jersey photo-matched to the semifinals and signed by Jordan to Dream Team teammate Karl Malone which sold for $3,030,000. It received 40 bids.
More than $5.6 million was spent on the collection, sold individually.
The collection, which had belonged to Malone, included a game-worn jersey and pair of shoes from each Dream Team player. According to Goldin, at one time the collection had been showcased at Malone’s Utah car dealership.

Several items had been photo-matched to one of the Olympic games.
