This slab was actually my first ever slab I owned and it was gifted to me as a bonus at my work from my friend and boss @tcgbazaar🦀 I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to work for the Bazaar. Baz is one of THEE MOST stand up, kind hearted, generous, trustworthy and funniest people I have ever met. If it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would be at the point I’m at – especially with collecting cards.
My roots with collecting trading cards started as a kid with Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! YGO more so than Pokémon. My big brother would teach me how to play YGO at home growing up and would give me cards to build my deck. I started to lose interest in high school but during the pandemic three years after college began, my three closest buddies and I decided to get into dueling. Only one of my friends and I knew how to play and we taught the other two. We would get together multiple times every week and duel and play beer pong for hours. I have so many fond memories cause of collecting, trading and playing with cards! One of the best hobbies out there and couldn’t recommend it enough!
